 Broken LaptopPosted 5:38PM 23 Apr. 2004 / Rev. 7:39PM 8 May 2004 A few days ago I returned home from school to hear a strange scratching sound emitting from my laptop computer. Upon restart I realized that the hard drive had completely broken itself and that I was unable to boot into Windows. After months of hearing a peculiar "clunking" sound, I should have guessed what was happening. Over this coming weekend my dad and I will be sending the laptop to a Sharp repair center to have the hard disk replaced, along with the missing keys that...broke off. For now I'm stuck using my mother's PC, without constant internet access in my room. Be sure to view the image below to ascertain my frustration. UPDATE: Yesterday (May 7th), I received my laptop in perfect condition from Sharp repair. They replaced the hard drive and broken keys. :)
